As an At-Risk Professional School Counselor, I have helped teens who have faced trauma, struggled with suicide ideation, non-suicidal self-harm, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, substance abuse/recovery, gender identity, career and college readiness amongst other real-life challenges. I have had great success seeing teens go from struggling to thriving.
I am passionate about helping people and a session with me will leave you feeling encouraged, helpful and hopeful about your future and living your best life. I use a multi-sensory approach to counseling that is theory based, allowing for real impact and change to occur. If you are ready to start the process of personal growth and healing, call me today!
As a professional school counselor I have attend many Texas School Counseling conferences and in 2017 I was able to present in Galveston on non-suicidal self harm . I have also been blessed to speak on several occasions on my experience in walking almost 500 miles across Spain in 2016. As one of the coordinators of the Alamo Chapter of the American Pilgrims of the Camino, I have spoken at REI over the last few years on the basics of walking the camino. This year I have been blessed to share information on Mental Health Awareness to the families in NEISD and we have our next presentation this week on Wednesday, May 5th at 6:00pm. I also will be presenting in May for Type One Nation on Mental Health Awareness and Diabetes on zoom. Please contact me if you have any questions on the presentations mentioned here.
